Autumn leaves, butterflies & a new book
Here in Swansea we are in the last days of autumn. Being on the coast with a temperate climate we are predominantly surrounded by native trees that don’t generally lose their leaves and certainly don’t put on the amazing colour changes that some places experience.
Having said that, there are some deciduous trees and you wouldn’t credit what dropped amongst the autumn leaves for me. A new pair of autumn toned shoes that not only compliment the season, but also appear to have been created especially for my new book. You guessed it the second book in the postcard series has predominantly autumn colours and you are likely to spot this distinctive butterfly on a page or two. So whilst Dorothy may have clicked her red heels in Oz, I’ll be proudly walking my butterflies to a reading or two…
